Soccer Aid fans were left baffled by host Alex Scott's "brave" outfit as they questioned what she was thinking.

The sports presenter was back on screens hosting the charity football match as celebs representing England and World XI battled it out on the pitch.

Yet many viewers were left distracted by Alex's dress as they tuned into the programme on one of the hottest days this year.

Alex looked stunning in a bright red PVC dress that showed off her incredible figure.

But many were concerned about how she was coping with the high temperatures.

"Stunning Alex is brave wearing that lovely dress in this weather," wrote one fan.

Another added: "Alex Scott’s dress of choice in this weather in brave! And how is she not sweating. She is just perfection," whilst someone else wrote: "Alex Scott is going to be roasting in that dress!"

"So just turned on tv to watch the Soccer Aid football match..What is Alex Scott thinking..she’s wearing a tight leather dress..!!!..in this weather..she must be absolutely bonkers….," commented a fourth.

One viewer said: "You know what, I genuinely do like and admire Alex Scott but who on earth advised her that a red PVC dress was appropriate to wear to a charity football match!!! Strange choice."

Another asked: "Isn't Alex a bit hot in that dress? She looks stunning though."

Whilst minutes into the show, many viewers were left complaining after noticing something about the crowd at the stadium.

Soccer Aid was back for 2023 on Sunday night, as team England prepared to take on the Soccer Aid World XI at Old Trafford.

A crowd of up to 75,000 is expected to be in attendance to watch their favourite stars take to the field in support of UNICEF.

But viewers tuning in at home were immediately "annoyed", a s hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alex Scott's voices were drowned out by the sounds of horns.

While it's not clear if the fans brought them into the stadium or if they were on the seats waiting for them, viewers at home quickly called for a "ban".

Many were getting frustrated with the constant loud noises just minutes into the show, with horns going constantly and every time someone spoke.

Soccer Aid is available to watch on ITV1 and ITVX.
